The Word for Today author, Bob Gass, passed away peacefully this month and is now with his Lord and Saviour. Our prayers and love are with Debby and the whole Gass family, praying that our God of all comfort fills their hearts with love and peace.
Bob and Debby have been part of the global UCB family for over 25 years and we are all very grateful for the generous partnership we have enjoyed. Bob has deeply impacted millions of people all around the world through his writing of The Word for Today. Personally I have very fond memories of the times I’ve been able to meet with Bob and Debby both here in Australia and overseas.
Some years ago Bob took on the project of writing 10 years of new material in five years, a project he finished in four! Today we can see God’s hand and Bob’s wisdom in it all – so that The Word for Today will continue to have new material for many years to come. This means continuity for all the UCB’s and affiliates around the world and the continued Global growth of The Word for Today.
Bob always had a huge heart for ministry and he was surrounded by a dedicated and passionate team, who are committed to Bob’s legacy and ensuring readers can continue to be ministered to through The Word for Today.
