This is Martin Huyeng from St Mary’s. This year Martin will be doing Grade 12 at St Andrew’s Technical High School.During the school holidays and weekends, Martin works as a street seller to raise funds towards his school fees. His commitment and discipline is truly inspiring.
Martin is also a faithful Laif FM listener. Every morning he wakes up for the 5am–6am devotion and the local preacher’s program. After that, he always prays before going out to do his sales.
This evening he visited us at the station. He shared how God spoke to his heart to come to Laif FM station ground, make his donation and get a copy of the 2026 The Word for Today. He came with great excitement, telling how the programs and the music have blessed his life.
We prayed together and I could feel the joy and fire of the Holy Spirit in him. He walked away smiling with his copy in his hand and said he will invite other street sellers to also come and donate and get their own copies.
Young people like Martin encourage us that God is raising a new generation who are hungry for His Word.
To God be the glory.
