谁也不要怕。(耶利米书1:8)

你是否由于缺乏安全感而避免某些活动和社交场合?如果是,你就很可能有“社交恐惧症”,害怕听到能力不足、尴尬或负面的评价。有些人甚至会经历恐慌症发作,从而影响到了他们的正常生活。然而,正是因为我们躲避这种状况,而非直面人生,才让惧怕辖制了我们。我们的惧怕有多大,取决于惧怕时我们和自己的对话,而这种对话,很大程度上是心理学家称谓的“次人格”在作乱。以下是几种普通的次人格类型,以及我们应当如何处置的方法: “忧虑者”。忧虑者预测最糟糕的情形,脑海呈现潜在不幸的夸张画面,并且对困难的任何微小迹象都极度警惕。他们最喜爱的自我表达是:“但是如果……怎么办?”要学会以这个表达来代替:“所以,……又能怎么样呢?靠上帝的恩典我可以学会去应对。虽然我感到忧虑,但还是继续做。我虽然不喜欢,但仍能坚持直至解决困难。靠着操练和上帝的帮助,我能胜过。”当耶利米觉得惧怕时,他想逃避宣讲上帝话语的使命,上帝对他说:“我派你去谁那里,你就去谁那里;我吩咐你说什么,你就说什么。谁也不要怕,因为我与你同在,我必拯救你。”(耶利米书1:7-8)与其逃避,不如凭信心去面对,看上帝如何带领你胜过!
