应对被弃感(之三)

耶稣问那十二个门徒:“你们也要离开我吗?”(约翰福音6:67)

在感到被弃时,通过控制焦虑,你就控制了最重要的方面,并能从中得到最大的益处。以下是几条有助于你的指南:一、务要记住,你主宰自己的思想。当焦虑袭来,你会开始胡思乱想。这时你必须要控制自己的心思。“击破一切的谬论和阻碍人们认识上帝的骄傲言论,夺回被掳去的心思意念,使其顺服基督。”(哥林多后书10:5)不要与其争辩或理论,也不要抵制它。命令它停止,进行深呼吸,并且从(你原先列出的)符合《圣经》的自我对话清单中选择出一个鼓舞人心的想法。当觉得减轻了焦虑,为自己的得胜而感谢上帝。二、远离“等候室”!等待某人改变或做出去留的决定,在此期间,你搁置不前。上帝并没有让你这么做!“你们要注意自己的生活…… 要爱惜光阴……”(以弗所书5:15-16)每天都做有意义的事,尽可能地主动将你的时间投入到有意义、有终极价值的事情中,特别是荣耀上帝的事情。三、帮助别人有助于你痊愈。上帝的互惠原则显明:有种才有收,给予才能获得。这个原则给你提供了助人助己的机会。《圣经》说:“约伯为朋友们祷告后,耶和华恢复了他以前的昌盛……”(约伯记42:10)研究始终表明,善待他人可以改进行善者的情绪状态。助人时,你实际上是指示身体提高积极的内啡肽水平,从而提升你喜乐、平安和信心的程度。不管你的关系如何进展,这个原则都会有益于你!
