应对被弃感(之二)

耶稣问那十二个门徒:“你们也要离开我吗?”(约翰福音6:67)

当面对离弃时,你最大的敌人就是自己的焦虑!焦虑迫使你做出完全错误的反应。学会控制焦虑,不然它会给你带来最大的惧怕。以下的两条指南可以帮助你:一、不要进入“追求者”的角色。大多数的关系都有“追求者”和“疏远者”。我们觉得脆弱的时候,就会进入到典型的角色当中并表现出来。一方疏远,另一方就会追求,反之亦然。问题是,当你追求“疏远者”时,他们感到焦虑,就更加疏远,这时你的焦虑加增,迫使你更加强烈地去追求。这是恶性循环。尽管你觉得不自然,但要凭信心停止追求。这样你就能减轻“疏远者”的焦虑,使他们停止疏远。放手是令人惧怕的,感觉好像是鼓励他们离开。其实不一定,但紧抓不放必然会使他们离开。应对焦虑要求你做使你害怕的事情,但这样会降低焦虑程度!二、控制引发焦虑的自言自语。“因为他心怎样思量,他为人就是怎样。”(箴言23:7—和合本)你的焦虑源于你的思维和独白,而非对方或环境导致。像“他若离开,我就活不下去了”这类话会引发并夸大你的惧怕。列出一个有益的自我对话清单,比如说:“如果他离开,我会伤心,但靠着上帝的帮助和家人的支持,我会渡过难关。”上帝能够改变你的心思意念,求祂参与你的关系,祂必减轻你的焦虑,赐给你更多的平安和信心。
