压力固然逃避不了,但你可以应用细微却重要的方式控制生活来学会应对它。以下是两个参照方面:一、为别人而不是为自己着想。大卫疲惫不堪,整夜无法合眼。你也有过这样的经历吧?那时,你就需要“一无挂虑,凡事要借着祷告和祈求,以感恩的心将你们的需要告诉上帝。这样,上帝那超越人所能理解的平安必在基督耶稣里保守你们的心思意念。”(腓立比书4:6-7)以利亚当时很抑郁,并且有自杀的念头,上帝告诉他自助的方法。怎样做呢?离开他所藏的山洞,出去服侍他人。专注于自己以外的事情,能够使你正确看待问题。保罗说:“祂是仁慈的父和赐一切安慰的上帝。我们遭遇任何患难,祂都安慰我们,使我们能够用祂给我们的安慰去安慰那些在各样患难中的人。”(哥林多后书1:3-4)你需要帮助吗?那么就去帮助他人。正是在这“接力”当中,我们得以健全。二、不要苦毒。生活是由百分之十所发生的事情和百分之九十你对这些事情的回应态度组成。富尔顿·希恩(Fulton Sheen)大主教说:“没有什么比错误地认定生活应该没有焦虑更能产生根深蒂固的焦虑了。”当你所信任的人背叛你或使你失望,或是多年忠心地进行什一奉献后仍然在经济方面挣扎时,很容易会觉得遭受不公。然而,不要苦毒(参希伯来书12:15)。苦毒会破坏你的关系,并且使你失去上帝的同在。解决方法在于“凡事谢恩,因为这是上帝在基督耶稣里给你们的旨意。”(帖撒罗尼迦前书5:18)
