你们要用自己的身体使祂(上帝)得荣耀。(哥林多前书6:20)

如果不好好锻炼身体,你很可能提前回天家。《圣经》说:“你们要用自己的身体使祂(上帝)得荣耀。”你该如何做呢?建议如下:一、改变你的饮食。我们很多人会因各种不当缘由比如压力、无聊、疲乏、生气、沮丧和自卑而进餐。你要尽量找出问题的根源。缺乏水果、蔬菜或含纤维的食品,以及过量的快餐,都会给你的健康带来很大的损害。操练自律。“那些属基督的人已经把罪恶的本性和本性里的邪情私欲都钉在十字架上了。”(加拉太书5:24)二、开始锻炼。秘诀在于慢慢开始。不乘电梯走楼梯,能走路就不坐车,跟孩子们玩玩球,不要时时玩手机。上帝设计我们的身体是要活动的,这并不是指每天早上从电梯走到办公室就可以了。每周锻炼三次,每次三十分钟,可以降低血压,减少压力,提升你的幸福感。来吧,运动起来!三、早一点睡觉。托尼·詹金斯(Tony Jenkins)牧师就妻子打呼噜的问题咨询医生。医生问:“她真的打扰到你吗?”詹金斯牧师回答:“不只是打扰到我,而且是整个会众!”没错,你需要八个小时的睡眠。很有可能你少睡一点也熬得过去,但你“熬得过去”就行了吗?诗篇的作者说:“你早起晚睡,为生活操劳也是徒然,唯有耶和华所爱的人才能安眠。”(诗篇127:2)因此,在合适的时间就关掉电视、电脑和手机。今日给你的圣言是:更好地照顾自己的身体。
