饶恕的医治能力

“要替恶待你们的人祷告。”(路加福音6:28)

夜复一夜,玛丽的父亲从酒吧醉醺醺地回到家,怒气冲冲地打她。因此,一有机会,她就离开了家。随着时间的推移,身上多数的伤痕开始愈合,但情感上的伤痛却可能持续一生。它们会使你陷入过往的痛苦中,并失去宝贵的人际关系。甚至是那些爱你的人,尽管付诸努力帮助你,却未看到你有任何好转,也会变得疲倦和失望。你认识这样的人吗?或者你就是这个人?你想治愈并找到喜乐吗?可以的。当玛丽决定饶恕父亲,并开始为他祷告,她就得到了喜乐。从那时起,她在灵性和情感上都变得健全。她继续饶恕父亲,为他祷告,直到过去的记忆不再囚禁她。耶稣祷告说:“要替恶待你们的人祷告。”“恶待”这个词暗示了你并没有做任何咎由自取的事情,你也许永远无法明白冒犯者伤害你的原因。这就解释了为什么耶稣在十字架上如此祷告:“‘父啊,赦免他们!因为他们不知道自己在做什么。’”(路加福音23:34)恶待你的人并非因此就能逃脱责任。他们将生活在由自己的所作所为带来的内疚感中,除非他们转向上帝寻求赦免,否则心中没有平安。你却会有平安!当你决定饶恕某人并为他们祷告时,你就收回你的能力,重获你的生活。
