Our team at Radio Voz had a visit from Francisco Martins da Costa Pereira Jerónimo last Week, Timor-Leste’s Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Social Communication.
They were able to show the minister their studio and tell him a bit of Radio Voz’s history. He graciously took time to address our team speaking mainly about the governments concern regarding fake news and the importance of right information in these COVID-19 pandemic times.
Pastor Elienae shared about Radio Voz and showed him the principles that guide their work as stated on the Shared Values posters hanging around the walls of the office.
They also made the minister aware that the team lead all their listeners in prayer every morning for the Timor-Leste Government and then they were able to pray for the minister adn his attending staff.
It was a very positive visit and the Minister even offered assistance from his technician staff should the Radio Voz team need help fixing the their equipment.
