If you said M&M\u2019s, you\u2019d be right! How did it happen? Turns out the Mars chocolate bar company executives decided nothing could be gained from allowing their M&M\u2019s sweets to be used in what some of them considered \u2018a silly movie\u2019. Consequently, the little boy Elliott ended up luring the loveable alien E.T. with Hershey\u2019s Reese\u2019s Pieces. That one scene drew millions of customers worldwide into sweet shops in quest of Reese\u2019s Pieces! Thanks to this movie mega-hit, Hershey\u2019s sales shot up 65%! It\u2019s interesting that the Mars executives who said \u2018No\u2019 probably lived in big houses, drove big cars, and earned big salaries! Yep, doubt and fear stalk the rich as well as the poor; you\u2019ll find naysayers at the top <i>and<\/i> bottom of the corporate ladder.<\/p>\n<p>Do you recall these words from the famous poem by John Greenleaf Whittier: \u2018For of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, \u201cIt might have been\u201d\u2019?<\/p>\n<p>Think of all the times opportunity knocked and nobody answered. Are you standing before a door of opportunity today? Are you afraid to walk through it? Don\u2019t be. God is with you. His Word says, <i>\u2018Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God\u2019s grace in its various forms.\u2019<\/i> When God gives you a <i>gift<\/i> He gives you the <i>grace<\/i> and <i>grit<\/i> to use it.
