The Four C's
Calling | Character | Culture | CompetencyCalling
First and foremost, we believe the best people for any role are those who have been chosen by God to fulfil the role. We are not offering a job as much as we are recruiting fellow labourers who share our passion and calling to share God’s Word through Christian broadcasting.
Character
We expect to see honesty, reliability, faithfulness, servanthood, humility, integrity, respect and a Christ-like attitude in all things. Servant leadership is a particularly important characteristic of a person taking on any leadership role.
Culture
We value each other. Each person brings their unique skills, talents and personality to the ministry and in order for us to operate as an effective team we must work together in unity.
Competency
Each member of UCB’s team is expected to demonstrate care, expertise, knowledge and skill as they fulfil their obligations. They are also expected to be proactive and innovative in offering solutions to overcome potential barriers to success. However, we also recognise that competency is the easiest personal characteristic to be taught to (and/or improved by) someone who demonstrates a willingness to learn.
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 NKJV
